
Exotic Thai Beef Stir-Fry

Ingredients:
- 500 grams Beef sirloin
- 1 stalk Lemongrass
- 2 pieces Red Thai chilies
- 0.5 cup Fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Oyster sauce
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- 2 cups Rice
Instructions:
- Slice the beef into thin strips, set aside.
- Bruise lemongrass stalk, chop finely and set aside.
- Finely chop the garlic and Thai chilies.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan.
- Add the lemongrass, garlic, and chilies to the pan and stir-fry for about 1 minute.
- Add the beef and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes or until it is seared on all sides.
- Add the soy sauce and oyster sauce to the wok and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes.
- Add the basil leaves, give the stir-fry one last stir, then remove from heat.
- Serve the Beef stir-fry with a side of steamed rice.
