Exotic Thai Beef Salad

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams beef sirloin
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint leave
  • 2 pieces chili peppers
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 piece, medium size cucumber
  • 1 piece, small size red onion
  • 20 pieces cherry tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon raw sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the beef sirloin with a mixture of lime juice, fish sauce, raw sugar, pepper, and finely chopped chili peppers for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat, add the marinated beef and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side, then let it rest for 15 minutes.
  3. Cut cucumber into thin slices, chop red onion, and halve cherry tomatoes.
  4. Thinly slice the rested beef.
  5. In a bowl, combine cucumber, red onion, cherry tomatoes, fresh coriander, mint leaves, and sliced beef.
  6. Drizzle the remaining marinade over the salad and lightly toss everything together.
  7. Serve immediately as it is, or chill in the refrigerator before serving.
