Exotic Thai Basil Egg Stir Fry

Ingredients:

  • 4 whole Eggs
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 cup Thai Basil Leaves
  • 2 whole Bird's Eye Chilies
  • 2 tbsp Fish Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Cooking oil

Instructions:

  1. Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them until the yolks and whites are fully mixed. Set aside.
  2. Mince the garlic and bird's eye chilies.
  3. Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and chilies and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add the beaten eggs to the pan and scramble them. When the eggs are fully cooked, transfer them to a separate dish.
  5. In the same pan, add the fish sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  6. Return the scrambled eggs to the pan and toss them in the sauce to coat.
  7. Add the Thai basil leaves and stir briefly until they are wilted. Remove the pan from the heat.
  8. Serve the dish hot with steamed jasmine rice.
