Exotic Pulled Pork Burgers with Pineapple Slaw

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 cup pineapple, shredded
  • 1 cup carrot, shredded
  • 1 cup white cabbage, shredded
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 4 pcs hamburger buns

Instructions:

  1. Rub the pork shoulder with the brown sugar and place in a slow cooker.
  2. Pour the BBQ sauce over the pork, cover the slow cooker, and let cook for 6 hours on low.
  3. Hours before serving, mix together the shredded pineapple, shredded carrot, shredded cabbage, and apple cider vinegar in a bowl to make the pineapple slaw. Refrigerate until needed.
  4. Once the pork is cooked and tender, remove it from the slow cooker and pull it apart using two forks.
  5. To serve, put some pulled pork on a hamburger bun, top with the pineapple slaw, and enjoy this exotic American lunch!
