Exotic Mexican Seafood Tacos

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium Octopus
  • 500 grams Shrimp
  • 12 pieces Corn tortillas
  • 1 bunch Fresh coriander
  • 2 large Avocados
  • 2 pieces Lime
  • 200 grams Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Clean the octopus and boil it in salted water for about 45 minutes until it is soft. Let it cool and then cut it into small pieces.
  2. Clean the shrimp and marinate it with lime juice, cumin powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set them aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the octopus pieces and cook for about 3 minutes until they are heated through.
  5. Dice the avocados and cherry tomatoes. Chop the coriander and squeeze the juice from the remaining lime.
  6. On each tortilla, spread some avocado and add the shrimp and octopus. Top it with diced tomatoes and coriander. Spritz with some lime juice and serve.
