Exotic Japanese Tuna Tartare

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ahi tuna steak
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 stalks Scallions
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 small knob Ginger
  • 1 tbsp Caviar

Instructions:

  1. First, finely chop the ahi tuna and place it in a bowl. This will be the main component of our dish.
  2. Thinly slice the scallions and add them to the tuna.
  3. Grate the knob of ginger and add to the mix.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar to make the tartare dressing.
  5. Pour the dressing over the tuna, add in the sesame seeds, and gently combine.
  6. Peel and slice the avocado. Arrange on the plate and top with the tuna mix.
  7. Finally, garnish with a spoonful of caviar to bring an exotic touch to this Japanese snack.
