Exotic Japanese Sashimi Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams Fresh Tuna sashimi grade
  • 1.5 cups White sushi rice
  • 2 sheets Nori seaweed, chopped
  • 2 stalks Scallions
  • to taste Wasabi
  • to taste Soy sauce
  • to taste Pickled ginger
  • 2 tablespoons Ikura (salmon roe)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the sushi rice according to package instructions. Let it cool slightly while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Chop the tuna into bite-sized pieces and chop the scallions finely.
  3. Flake the nori into small pieces using your hands.
  4. Divide the cooled sushi rice between two bowls. Top with chopped tuna, nori, scallions and a spoonful of ikura.
  5. Serve immediately with wasabi, soy sauce, and pickled ginger on the side.
