Exotic Japanese Pasta Snack

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams Fresh Udon Noodles
  • 2 tablespoons Miso Paste
  • 1 sheet Nori Seaweed
  • 2 whole Spring Onions
  • 5 whole Shiitake Mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoons Sesame Oil
  • 100 grams Edamame Beans

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add 200 grams of fresh udon noodles and cook for about 10 minutes, or according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat a tablespoon of sesame oil in a pan. Add sliced shiitake mushrooms and cook until softened.
  3. In the same pan, add 2 tablespoons of miso paste and a tablespoon of soy sauce. Mix well.
  4. Toss in the prepared udon noodles and stir until they are well coated with the miso-soy sauce mixture.
  5. Add cooked edamame beans into the pan and give everything a good stir. Continue to cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Divide the noodles between two plates. Garnish with sliced spring onions and nori seaweed.
  7. Serve immediately. Enjoy this Exotic Japanese Pasta Snack.
