Exotic Japanese Egg Donburi

Ingredients:

  • 4 whole Eggs
  • 4 cups Cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Mirin
  • 2 stalks Green onions
  • 2 cups Dashi broth
  • 4 squares Nori seaweed

Instructions:

  1. In a small pan, combine the soy sauce, mirin, and dashi broth over a medium heat. Simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors.
  2. In a separate pan, scramble the eggs over a low heat, keeping them slightly runny.
  3. Place a serving of rice equally in 4 different bowls.
  4. Top each bowl with the scrambled eggs.
  5. Pour the prepared sauce evenly over each bowl.
  6. Finish by sprinkling chopped green onions and a square of nori seaweed on top of each bowl.
