Exotic Italian Frittata

Ingredients:

  • 6 pieces Eggs
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 links Italian sausage
  • 0.5 cup Sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 sprig Fresh basil
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Black truffle oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees C (400 degrees F).
  2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the cheeses. Set aside.
  3. Heat a large, oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Remove the sausage from its casing and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the diced sun-dried tomatoes and minced garlic, and cook until fragrant.
  5. Pour the egg and cheese mixture over the sausage/tomato mixture. Stir lightly to make sure the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the frittata is golden brown on top.
  7. Let the frittata cool for a few minutes before slicing. Drizzle with black truffle oil and garnish with fresh basil before serving.
