Exotic Indian-Style Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 cup Chopped onion
  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups Chopped tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Grated ginger
  • 1.5 teaspoon Ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 Chopped red bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh cilantro leaves
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger; cook until onions are translucent.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes to the skillet. Cook until they begin to break down and form a sauce.
  4. Stir in turmeric, garam masala, and chopped red bell pepper to the skillet. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, and toss to combine well with the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
  7. Serve the Exotic Indian-Style Pasta warm. Enjoy your taste of India!
