
Exotic Indian Prawn Curry

Ingredients:
- 500 grams King Prawns
- 2 pieces Onions
- 2 pieces Tomatoes
- 2 pieces Garlic Cloves
- 1 inch piece Ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1 teaspoon Coriander Seeds
- 1 tablespoon Tamarind Pulp
- 1 cup Coconut Milk
- 2 tablespoons Canola Oil
- to taste Salt
- for garnish Fresh Cilantro
Instructions:
- Clean and devein the prawns, keep them aside.
- Grind onions, tomatoes, garlic, ginger, cumin seeds, coriander seeds into a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add the ground paste and sauté till golden brown.
- Add turmeric powder, chili powder, and sauté for another 2 minutes.
- Add prawns, tamarind pulp, salt and cover the pan. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Pour in coconut milk, mix well and simmer for about 5 minutes or until the prawns are cooked and the curry is at your desired consistency.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
- Serve it hot with steamed rice or flatbread of your choice.
