Exotic Indian Chicken Samosas

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces Chicken breasts
  • 1 large Onion
  • 1/2 cup Green peas
  • 2 medium Potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 12 pieces Samosa wrappers
  • enough for deep frying Vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Boil the chicken breasts until fully cooked and then shred.
  2. While the chicken is boiling dice the onion, peas, and potatoes.
  3. Saute the onion until it turns transparent, and then add the peas and potatoes. Cook until potatoes are tender.
  4. When the potatoes are tender, add in the shredded chicken, curry powder, garam masala, and cumin. Stir well and let it cook for around 5 minutes.
  5. Fill each samosa wrapper with the chicken filling and fold it into a triangle. Seal the edges with water.
  6. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan. Deep fry the samosas until they turn golden brown.
  7. Serve with a side of chutney or yogurt for dipping.
