Exotic French Midnight Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces Chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 Shallots
  • 1/4 cup Dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Tarragon leaves
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and chopped shallots. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Add the white wine and simmer for a few minutes to reduce.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and tarragon leaves. Simmer the sauce for another 5 minutes.
  7. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and let it simmer in the sauce for a few minutes to soak up the flavors.
  8. Serve the chicken hot with a spoonful of the creamy sauce. Bon Appétit!
