
Exotic Chinese Breakfast Fried Rice

Ingredients:
- 2 cups Jasmine Rice
- 3 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 3 Eggs
- 2 stalks Green Onion
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 cup Mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 200 grams Shrimp
- 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 1 tablespoons Sesame Oil
- 1 teaspoon Chinese Five Spice Powder
Instructions:
- Cook the Jasmine rice according to package instructions and let it cool.
- While the rice is cooling, chop the green onions and mince the garlic.
- Heat a wok or large frying pan on medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
- Scramble the eggs in the wok and set them aside.
- In the same wok, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil, the chopped green onions, minced garlic, and mixed vegetables.
- Add shrimp and stir-fry until they turn pink.
- Stir in soy sauce and Chinese five spice powder, mix well.
- Add the cooled, cooked rice and the scrambled eggs back into the wok.
- Stir everything together, breaking up the eggs into smaller pieces, and letting each grain of rice get coated in the sauce.
- Drizzle with sesame oil, stir well, serve hot.
