Exotic American BBQ Beef Sliders

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds Beef brisket
  • 4 tablespoons BBQ Spice Rub
  • 12 pcs Brioche slider buns
  • to taste Exotic fruit chutney (like mango or pineapple)
  • 12 slices American cheese slices
  • 2 cups Coleslaw mix
  • 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Season the beef brisket with the BBQ spice rub, making sure to cover all sides. Leave to marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  2. Preheat your slow cooker or oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C). Cook the beef brisket for 4 hours, turning every hour, until very tender.
  3. When the beef brisket is nearly done, make the coleslaw by combining the coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, and lemon juice. Chill in the fridge until needed.
  4. Once done, let the brisket rest for 10 minutes before slicing thinly.
  5. Toast the brioche slider buns, then assemble the sliders. Start with a slice of American cheese on the bottom bun, then add the sliced beef brisket, a dollop of exotic fruit chutney, and a spoonful of coleslaw. Top with the other half of the bun.
  6. Serve your Exotic American BBQ Beef Sliders immediately, along with extra chutney and coleslaw on the side.
