
Easy Vegetable Biryani

Ingredients:
- 2 cups Basmati Rice
- 3 cups Mixed Vegetables
- 1 medium Onion
- 1 medium Tomato
- 2 tbsp Biryani Masala Powder
- 0.5 tsp Turmeric
- to taste Salt
- 0.5 cup Yogurt
- 2 tbsp Oil
Instructions:
- Clean the rice and soak it for about 15 minutes.
- In the meanwhile, chop the vegetables and sauté them in oil until they are partly cooked.
- Next, add the biryani masala powder, turmeric, and salt to the vegetables, mixing well.
- Add the soaked and drained rice to the vegetable mixture. Cook for about 5 minutes on a medium flame.
- Whisk the yogurt and add it to the pan, stirring well to combine. Cover the pan and cook for 15 minutes, or until the rice and vegetables are cooked.
- Let it rest for five minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
