
Desi Masala Pasta

Ingredients:
- 2 cups Pasta
- 1 large Onion
- 2 medium Tomato
- 1 medium Green bell pepper
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 2 pieces Green chilli
- 3 tablespoons Olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
- 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 0.5 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 cup Pasta sauce
- 1 cup Grated cheese
- As needed Water
- For garnish Fresh coriander
Instructions:
- Cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- While the pasta is cooking, chop the onion, tomato, green bell pepper, garlic, and green chilli.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and onions, and sauté until onions are translucent.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and green chillies to the pan, and cook until tomatoes are soft.
- Add the bell peppers, and sauté for a couple minutes.
- Add salt, garam masala, turmeric powder, and red chilli powder. Mix well.
- Pour in the pasta sauce, and let it simmer for a while.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, and mix well until pasta is evenly coated with the sauce.
- Lastly, sprinkle the grated cheese over the pasta. Cover the pan and let it melt.
- Garnish with fresh coriander just before serving. Enjoy your comforting Desi Masala Pasta hot!
