
Creamy Tomato and Basil Pasta

Ingredients:
- 500 grams Pasta
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 2 cups Cherry tomatoes
- 3/4 cup Heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Fresh basil leaves
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- to taste Salt and pepper
Instructions:
- Begin by cooking the pasta according to the package instructions. Once done, drain and set aside.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large pan. Crush the garlic and add to the pan, sautéing until fragrant.
- Add the cherry tomatoes to the pan next, cooking them over medium heat until they burst and give off their juice.
- Reduce the heat and pour in the heavy cream. Allow this mixture to simmer until it forms a rich, thick sauce.
- Finally, tear the basil leaves and add them to the pan along with the pasta. Grate in the parmesan cheese and toss it all together until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the pasta hot, with extra parmesan cheese on top if desired.
