Creamy Mac and Cheese

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Elbow macaroni
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Whole milk
  • 2 cups Sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour until well mixed with the butter.
  3. Slowly pour in the milk, stirring constantly until it starts to thicken. Stir in the cheese until fully melted.
  4. Mix in the cooked pasta, ensuring it's fully coated with the creamy cheese sauce.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, then serve immediately.
