Creamy French Risotto

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups Arborio rice
  • 4.5 cups Chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup White wine
  • 1 whole Onion
  • 2 whole Garlic cloves
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup Fresh parmesan cheese
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
  2. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Then, sauté the onion and garlic until they turn translucent.
  3. Stir in the arborio rice and cook for 2-3 minutes until the grains become slightly toasted.
  4. Pour in the white wine and keep stirring until it's completely absorbed by the rice.
  5. Add in the chicken broth, one cup at a time, while continuously stirring. Wait until each cup of broth is absorbed before adding the next. This process should take about 20-30 minutes.
  6. Once all the broth has been absorbed, the rice should be al dente. Stir in the parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy this creamy, comforting breakfast risotto.
