Creamy Chicken and Rice Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 3 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1.5 cups Long grain rice
  • 1 can Cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Pepper
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a casserole dish and set it aside.
  3. Arrange the chicken breasts at the bottom of the dish, and sprinkle salt and pepper evenly on top.
  4. In a bowl, combine the rice, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth.
  5. Pour the rice mixture over the chicken.
  6. Cut the butter into small slices and distribute evenly on top of the rice mixture.
  7. Cover the dish with aluminium foil and bake for 35 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top, and bake uncovered for another 10 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
  9. Allow it to cool for a couple of minutes before serving.
