
Classic Italian Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients:
- 1 box Fettuccine Pasta
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1.5 cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
- To Taste Salt
- To Taste Black Pepper
Instructions:
- Boil a large pot of salted water.
- Add fettuccine and cook until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
- While pasta is cooking, melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream to the saucepan and bring to a simmer. Let it simmer for about 2 minutes.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese until it fully melts into the sauce, then season with salt and pepper as per your taste.
- Drain the pasta, but save your pasta water.
- Toss the drained pasta in the sauce, adding the reserved pasta water a little at a time as needed to help loosen the sauce and help it stick to the pasta.
- Serve with additional parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of black pepper.
