Classic Italian Chicken Parmesan

Ingredients:

  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 pieces Eggs
  • 1.5 cups Breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • As needed Olive oil
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce
  • 1.5 cups Mozzarella cheese
  • To taste Basil leaves
  • To taste Salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. 2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then dredge them in flour.
  3. 3. Beat the eggs in a shallow bowl. In another bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  4. 4. Dip the floured chicken into the beaten egg, then coat it in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. 5. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken until it's golden brown on both sides.
  6. 6. Place the chicken in a baking dish, spread marinara sauce over the top, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  7. 7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. 8. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
