
Classic French Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients:
- 1 unit pie crust
- 4 unit large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
- 8 unit bacon strips
- to taste salt
- to taste ground black pepper
- a pinch nutmeg
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375F (190C).
- Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish.
- Fry the bacon until crisp, then crumble it and set aside.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs, cream, and milk together until smooth.
- Stir in the cheese, crumbled bacon, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
- Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and lightly browned on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serve warm. Enjoy!
