Classic French Omelette

Ingredients:

  • 4 whole Eggs
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/4 cup Fresh chives
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk the eggs, chives, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the butter and let it melt, coating the pan evenly.
  3. Pour the eggs into the pan and reduce the heat to low. Stir gently with a spatula, lifting the cooked edges to allow the uncooked eggs to flow underneath.
  4. When the eggs are mostly cooked but still slightly runny in the middle, fold the omelette in half and slide onto a plate. Serve immediately.
