
Classic Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients:
- 1 pound Beef sirloin
- 1 medium Onion
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 cup Mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Beef broth
- 1 cup Sour cream
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 8 ounces Egg noodles
Instructions:
- Season the beef with salt and pepper. In a large pan, melt one tablespoon of butter and brown the beef. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt the remaining butter. Add onions, garlic, and mushrooms, and saute until tender.
- Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir well. Slowly pour in the beef broth, stirring continuously. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Stir in the sour cream and return the beef to the pan. Simmer on low heat while you prepare the egg noodles according to the package instructions.
- Serve the beef stroganoff over the egg noodles.
