Classic American Style Seafood Omelette

Ingredients:

  • 8 units Eggs
  • 1 cup Crab meat
  • 8 units Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 unit Green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 unit Red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • to taste Salt and black pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt butter in a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the green pepper and onion to the pan and sauté until they are soft and beginning to brown.
  4. Add in the garlic, crab meat, and shrimp. Cook until the shrimp are pink and fully cooked.
  5. Lower the heat to medium. Pour in the eggs. Cook without stirring until the edges of the omelette are set.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the omelette.
  7. Using a spatula, carefully fold the omelette in half. Cover the pan and cook for a minute until the cheese is melted.
  8. Cut the omelette into four portions. Serve immediately.
