Classic American Meatloaf

Ingredients:
- 1 pound Ground beef
- 1 cup Bread crumbs
- 1 piece Onion, finely chopped
- 1 piece Egg
- 0.5 cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Pepper
- 0.5 cup Ketchup
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, egg, milk, ketchup, salt, and pepper. Mix until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a lightly greased loaf pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through. A meat thermometer inserted in the middle should read 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
