
Classic American Fluffy Pancakes

Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons Granulated sugar
- 3.5 teaspoons Baking powder
- 1.25 cups Milk
- 1 unit Egg
- 3 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted
- to taste Maple syrup for serving
- to taste Fresh berries for serving
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
- In another bowl, beat the egg and then add the milk and melted butter. Mix well.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; it's okay if there are a few lumps.
- Heat a griddle or nonstick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter.
- Pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto the griddle for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
- Serve the pancakes warm, topped with maple syrup and fresh berries.
