Classic American Breakfast Skillet with Pork

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Pork sausage
  • 2 large Potatoes
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1 Red bell pepper
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions:

  1. 1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook and crumble the pork until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. 2. In the same skillet, add diced potatoes, cook until golden brown and crispy.
  3. 3. Add the chopped onion and diced bell pepper to the skillet, cook until onions are soft and translucent.
  4. 4. Return the cooked pork to the skillet, mix well. Make four wells in the mixture, crack an egg into each well.
  5. 5. Cover the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes, until the eggs are cooked to your liking.
  6. 6. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top, cover again and let it melt.
  7. 7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
