
Chinese Style Vegetable Lo Mein

Ingredients:
- 8 ounces Dried Lo Mein Noodles
- 3 tablespoons Low-sodium Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce
- 2 teaspoons Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 medium White Onion
- 1 medium Carrot
- 1 large Bell Pepper
- 3 stalks Scallions
Instructions:
- In a large pot of boiling water, cook the lo mein noodles until tender, about 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and sesame oil. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and onion and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- Add the carrot and bell pepper and cook until they begin to soften, about 5 minutes. Add the scallions and cook for an additional minute.
- Add the cooked noodles and sauce to the wok and toss to combine. Cook until heated through, about 2 minutes more.
- Serve the lo mein hot, garnish with additional sliced scallions if desired.
