
Chinese Style Sweet and Sour Pork

Ingredients:
- 1 pound Pork loin
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 0.5 cup Cornstarch
- 1 whole Egg
- enough for deep frying Vegetable oil
- 0.5 cup Ketchup
- 0.25 cup White vinegar
- 0.25 cup Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 1 cup Pineapple chunks
- 1 whole Green bell pepper
- 1 whole Red bell pepper
- 1 whole Yellow Onion
Instructions:
- Cut pork loin into bite size pieces and season with salt and pepper
- Dip the pork pieces in beaten egg, followed by cornstarch
- Deep fry the pork pieces in hot oil until golden brown. Set aside
- In a separate pan, mix ketchup, vinegar, sugar and soy sauce and bring to boil
- Add the pineapple chunks, bell peppers and onion to the sauce, simmer until tender
- Add the fried pork to the sauce and mix until every piece is coated
- Serve your Chinese style sweet and sour pork with white rice or noodles for a comforting snack time
