
Chinese Style Comfort Fish Cakes

Ingredients:
- 500 grams White Fish Fillets
- 3 items Spring onions
- 1 inch piece Ginger
- 2 items Garlic Cloves
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
- 2 tbsp Cornflour
- 1 item Egg
- Sufficient for frying Vegetable Oil
Instructions:
- Chop the fish into chunks and place it in a food processor.
- Peel and finely chop the ginger and garlic. Add this to the processor.
- Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornflour, and egg to the processor.
- Chop the spring onions finely and add them to the mixture in the processor. Blend until you get a smooth paste.
- Heat oil in a frying pan. Scoop spoonfuls of the mixture into the pan and flatten with the back of the spoon.
- Fry the cakes until golden brown on both sides. Serve while hot.
