Servings: 6
Prep Time: 2 hours
Cook Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 2 hours 25 minutes
Ingredients:
- 500 grams Pork
- 1 teaspoon Yeast
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 3/4 cup Warm Water
- 2 units Green Onions
- 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the yeast, sugar, flour, and warm water. Stir until the mixture forms a sticky dough. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until the dough has doubled in size.
- Meanwhile, finely chop the pork and green onions. In a pan, cook the pork over medium heat until no longer pink. Add the green onions, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, stirring until well combined. Remove from the heat and set aside.
- Once the dough has risen, turn it out onto a floured surface and knead it for about 5 minutes, until it becomes elastic.
- Divide the dough into small, golf-ball-sized pieces. Flatten each piece into a disc, place a tablespoonful of the pork mixture in the center, then fold the dough up and around the filling, pinching it closed at the top.
- Place each bun on a small piece of parchment paper, then steam them in a steamer for about 15 minutes.
- Serve the steamed buns hot for a comforting and hearty breakfast. Enjoy!
