Chinese Comfort Noodles

Ingredients:

  • 100 grams Pasta (spaghetti or noodles)
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 small piece Ginger
  • 2 units Spring Onions
  • 1 unit Carrot
  • 1 unit Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 unit Green Bell Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Begin by bringing a large pot of water to a boil and cook your pasta until al dente, according to package instructions.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat a wok or large skillet over medium heat. Add the sesame oil, minced garlic, and finely chopped ginger. Stir fry for a minute until fragrant.
  3. Next, chop the carrots, red and green bell peppers into thin strips and add them to the wok. Continue to stir fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the wok. Stir to combine, and then add the soy sauce and oyster sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta and veggies are well-coated in the sauce.
  5. Finally, chop the spring onions and sprinkle them over the top of the pasta just before serving.
  6. Enjoy your comforting bowl of Chinese noodles!
