Chinese Comfort Fruit Porridge

Ingredients:
- 1 cup Short Grain Rice
- 6 cups Water
- 2 cups Assorted Fresh Fruits (like apples, oranges, berries)
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Honey
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
Instructions:
- In a large pot, rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Add water to the pot and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, covering the pot halfway and simmer until the porridge is your desired consistency (about 1 hour).
- Wash, peel, and chop your selected fruits into bite-sized pieces.
- While the porridge is cooking, put a saucepan on medium heat, add the chopped fruits, sugar, and a couple of tablespoons of water. Let it simmer, stirring occasionally until the fruits are soft and syrupy.
- Once your porridge is ready, stir in the honey and cinnamon until fully incorporated.
- Serve the porridge in bowls, topped with the fruit mixture.
