
Chinese Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry

Ingredients:
- 1 pound Beef sirloin
- 2 cups Broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup Low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
- 1 cup Water
Instructions:
- Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips. Mince the garlic and grate the ginger.
- In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and brown sugar.
- In a large frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the broccoli and cook for another 2-3 minutes, until it's just tender.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with a little water to make a slurry. Stir this into the pan.
- Pour the soy sauce mixture into the pan and stir everything together. Cook for another minute, until the sauce has thickened.
- Serve the stir-fry hot, with brown rice if desired.
