
Chicken Tikka Masala

Ingredients:
- 500 grams Boneless chicken
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 large Onion
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 1 inch Ginger
- 1 cup Canned tomato puree
- 1/4 cup Yoghurt
- 2 teaspoons Garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder
- to taste Salt
- for garnish Fresh coriander leaves
Instructions:
- Marinate the chicken pieces in yoghurt, turmeric, chili powder, and salt. Let it sit for at least 10-15 minutes.
- In a pan, heat the oil and fry the chicken pieces until they are half cooked. Remove them and set aside.
- In the same pan, add more oil if necessary. Sauté the onions until translucent. Add the ginger and garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the tomato puree and the garam masala. Cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
- Add the half-cooked chicken to the pan. Cover and cook on low heat until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
