Chicken Teriyaki Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces Chicken Breasts
  • 50 ml Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly Grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 2 cups Cooked white rice
  • 2 stalks Spring Onions
  • to taste none Sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Begin by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then set aside.
  2. Mix the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a bowl. This will be your teriyaki sauce.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan and cook the chicken until it's golden, about 7 minutes each side.
  4. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and let it simmer until the sauce has thickened, approximately 5 minutes.
  5. Serve the chicken over cooked rice, garnish with chopped spring onions and sesame seeds.
