
Chicken Involtini with Provolone and Basil

Ingredients:
- 4 Whole Boneless chicken breasts
- 100 grams Provolone cheese
- 8 Whole Fresh basil leaves
- 2 cloves Garlic
- to taste Extra virgin olive oil
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper
- 100 ml White wine
Instructions:
- First, being by preheating your oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Prepare the chicken breasts by cutting a pocket into each one. Be careful not to cut all the way through.
- Inside each pocket, stuff with roughly chopped provolone cheese and fresh basil leaves. Season with salt and pepper.
- Secure the chicken breast with toothpicks to keep them closed while cooking.
- In a large oven-proof pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium heat. Add the crushed garlic and cook until it becomes aromatic.
- Add the chicken breasts to the pan and sear on both sides until golden brown.
- Pour the white wine over the chicken, then place the whole pan into the preheated oven.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving. Don't forget to remove the toothpicks!
