Total Time: 2 hours 15 mins

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs pork shoulder
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 whole orange
  • 1 whole lime
  • 8 pcs small tortillas
  • 1 cup green salsa
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
  2. Cut the pork shoulder into large chunks, removing any excess fat. Place the pork in a large baking dish.
  3. Season the pork with salt, pepper, cumin, and oregano. Rub the seasonings into the pork.
  4. Squeeze the juice of the orange and lime over the pork. Tuck the squeezed fruit halves into the dish. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven until the pork is very tender, about 2 hours.
  6. Once done, remove the pork from the oven and shred the meat using two forks.
  7. Heat up the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  8. Serve the pork on the tortillas, topped with green salsa, diced onions, and chopped cilantro.
