
Bruschetta al Pomodoro

Ingredients:
- 1 whole French baguette
- 2 heads Garlic cloves, peeled
- 4 medium-size Ripe Tomatoes
- as needed Extra-virgin olive oil
- 5 leaves Freshly chopped basil leaves
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Slice baguette diagonally into 1-inch-thick slices and arrange them on a baking sheet
- In a preheated oven at 450 F, toast the slices until they're golden brown. This should take about 5 minutes
- Rub looking surface each toasted bread slice with a garlic clove
- Chop the tomatoes and mix them with a little salt, black pepper, and chopped basil
- Spoon the tomato mixture onto each slice of bread and drizzle with olive oil before serving
