
Breakfast Pasta à la Française

Ingredients:
- 200 grams Spaghetti
- 4 slices Bacon
- 50 grams Parmesan cheese
- 1 bunch Fresh basil
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper
- 4 whole Eggs
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to boil, add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the spaghetti is cooking, cut the bacon into small bits and fry them in a pan with olive oil until crispy.
- Peel and mince the garlic. Once the bacon is crispy, add the minced garlic to the pan and stir until fragrant.
- Drain the cooked spaghetti, reserving some pasta water. Add the drained spaghetti to the pan with bacon and garlic. Toss well to combine.
- Crack the eggs into the pan and stir quickly to prevent them from scrambling. The heat of the pasta will cook the eggs slightly, creating a creamy sauce. If the pasta becomes too thick, use the reserved pasta water to thin it out a bit.
- Add the parmesan cheese and stir until melted and well integrated.
- Season with salt and black pepper. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
- Serve the pasta hot with extra parmesan cheese at the table. Bon appétit!
