Beef Teriyaki Donburi

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams Sliced beef
  • 2 cups White rice
  • 1/2 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Sake
  • 1/4 cup Mirin
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 4 stalks Green onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice in a rice cooker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. In a frying pan over medium heat, add the beef, soy sauce, sake, mirin and sugar. Cook the beef until it's no longer pink and the sauce has thickened.
  3. Thinly slice the green onions.
  4. Once the rice is done, divide it into four bowls. Top each bowl with the beef and sauce mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the green onions and sesame seeds over the beef. Serve the Beef Teriyaki Donburi hot.
