
Beef Okonomiyaki - Japanese Savoury Breakfast Pancake

Ingredients:
- 200 grams Beef steak
- 1 cup, shredded Cabbage
- 1 teaspoon Dashi powder
- 1 cup Flour
- 2 Eggs
- 4 sliced Spring onions
- to taste Okonomiyaki sauce
- to taste Mayonnaise
- to taste Pickled ginger
- to taste Aonori
- to taste Katsuobushi
Instructions:
- Thinly slice the beef steak and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine flour and dashi powder. Add in eggs and mix until smooth.
- Fold in shredded cabbage into the batter until fully coated.
- Heat a pan over medium heat. Spread half of the cabbage batter onto the pan. Arrange the beef slices on top of the batter.
- Cover the beef with the remaining batter, spreading it evenly.
- Cook for about 5 minutes, then flip and cook the other side for another 5 minutes, or until both sides are brown and crispy.
- Drizzle with okonomiyaki sauce and mayonnaise. Top with spring onions, pickled ginger, aonori, and katsuobushi before serving.
