Beef Lo Mein Comfort Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 16 ounces lo mein noodles
  • 1 pound sliced beef
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 3 pieces garlic cloves
  • 4 stalks green onions
  • 1 piece carrot
  • 2 pieces bell peppers

Instructions:

  1. Prepare lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the beef and stir-fry until cooked. Remove the meat from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for a minute until fragrant.
  4. Add bell peppers and carrots to the skillet, stir-fry until tender.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce into the skillet and toss to coat the vegetables well.
  6. Add the cooked beef and noodles to the skillet. Toss everything together so that the beef and noodles are coated in the sauce.
  7. Slice the green onions and sprinkle them on top of the lo mein before serving.
