
Baked Samosa

Ingredients:
- 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
- 5 tablespoons Olive Oil
- as needed Water
- 2 medium Potatoes
- 1/2 cup Frozen Green Peas
- 1 inch, grated Ginger
- 2 Green Chili Peppers
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- to taste Salt
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and 4 tablespoons of oil. Gradually add water until a dough forms. Knead until smooth, then cover and let rest for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, boil the potatoes until tender. Drain, peel, and mash.
- In a pan, heat the remaining oil. Add the cumin seeds and let them crackle. Then, add the green chili peppers and ginger. Stir for a few seconds.
- To the pan, add the mashed potatoes, green peas, garam masala, coriander powder, and salt. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the dough and divide it into small circles. Place a spoonful of the potato filling on one side of each circle, then fold over to form a half-moon shape. Press the edges together to seal.
- Place the samosas on a baking sheet and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
