Baked Italian Summer Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 4 pieces Boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 1 piece Lemon
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian spice blend
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions:

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
  2. 2. Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts, then season with salt, pepper and Italian spice blend on both sides.
  3. 3. In a baking dish, layer the chicken breasts. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken.
  4. 4. Mince the garlic and scatter over the chicken. Zest the lemon and squeeze the juice over the chicken.
  5. 5. Sprinkle the parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves over the top.
  6. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.
