American Rice Balls

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Rice
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a pot, bring water to a boil.
  2. Add rice into the pot, cover and reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes until the rice is cooked.
  3. Once the rice is cooled, mix in cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Shape the rice into balls and roll them in breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the rice balls until they are golden brown.
  6. Serve the American Rice Balls hot as a snack.
